Dealing With your Pets' Allergies Guide By Me

Here is some ways to Deal With your Pets' Allergies
It is Winter time again, a time of the year when pets and humans are very vulnerable to each other. As this is obviously the chilliest time of the year, animals are much more likely to be cooped up inside the house with us. All of the windows and doors are closed to the world and the heat is blasting around the clock.
These are precisely the conditions which make our winter homes playgrounds for some kinds of allergens. Our dogs and cats are considerably vulnerable to the dust in the carpet, the mold inside the walls of your old house and other pets. But warm moist times of the year are high allergy times as well. Allergies are simply the most common conditions affecting cats and according to the Kansas State University, 15% of dogs suffer from common allergies like pollen and house dust. An allergic reaction is the work of an overactive immune system. It is when an animal responds abnormally to a seemingly everyday substance like grass or general food ingredients.
Of the different kinds of allergies, contact allergies are the least common in cats and dogs. An Example of a contact allergen is a flea collar. Grass and various kinds of bedding such as wool are also examples. An Inhalant Allergy is the most common allergy for cats and is also prevalent in dogs.
This particular kind of allergy is caused by the hypersensitivity of the immune system to environmental substances. A Flea Allergy is the single most common dog allergy but is also common cats. The normal dog or cat suffers only somewhat minor irritation in lieu of a flea bite with minimal itching.
A food allergy is also somehat common in pets. Cats often become allergic to their most common protein such as tuna. Dogs can be allergic to proteins like chicken and beef. When it comes to allergies, like most things it's a matter of controlling, not curing. Once an animal's body becomes hypersensitive to certain things, it is then eternally vulnerable to those things.
Regarding treatment of allergies, the most common treatments are topical products like shampoos or antihistamines. There are also certain supplements that you can give to your pets to help support
the insides of their bodies, which to an extent determine the condition of the outside. Studies have shown that if we shampoo our pets' coats on a regularl basis, it is much less likely that foreign substances will enter through the skin. Regular bathing discourages allergens -- irritants such as dander and dead hair. When our pets itch and injure their skin, it leaves their internal landscapes much more vulnerable to skin problems For additional Information visit

Some Easy Tips for Healthy Pets

Here are Some Easy Tips for Healthy Pets just for my blogger follower :) :

1) Food
Food is meant to be good tasting and good for you.
The same applies to our pets. Unfortunately, both
people food and pet food are full of stuff. And
most of this stuff isn't found growing naturally.
Manufacturers have taken the place of growers and
cooks. To make foods taste better things are
added.
To make foods last forever on the store shelf,
things are added. For example, tomatoes are now
designed to look good after a long trip to the
store. They are not grown to be nutritious and
safe.
On TV we see reports about how additives,
preservatives and stuff are making our children
unhealthy. The same thing applies to our pets'
food.
Preservatives keep food fresh by altering the
DNA of the creatures living on the food.
What do these preservatives do to the DNA of the
child or pet eating them?
See where I'm going?
Altered hormones, cell mutations (cancer),
sickness !!!
The only way to minimize this stuff in our pet's
food is to make the food ourselves. There are
recipes all over the web for the kitchen literate.
Most people don't have the time to make their
pet's food and treats. There are places where
good wholesome pet foods can be purchased.
2) Chemicals in the home
What do you use to clean your counter tops? Where
do you store it? Can your pet get to it? Can your
kids get to it?
A large number of children and pets are poisoned
each year because household products are very
attractive to inquisitive minds. There are a lot
of products on the market that won't harm anyone
if swallowed.
We had one 6 month old child find and swallow
a cleanser. The parents didn't think he was old
enough to get to the open bottle.
3) Mold in the home
Most people consider mold in the home an
unattractive nuisance. But it can cause allergic
reactions in children AND pets.
One house we investigated had two sick, allergic,
asthmatic kids. But they called us in when the dog
started sneezing.
Does your pet sleep in the laundry room? Lots of
mold there too.
Mold can cause:
* Allergies,
* sinus problems,
* itching,
* stomach problems,
* hyperactivity,
* skin and hair problems.
This list applies both to kids and pets.
But be careful about what you use to clean away
the mold. Bleach doesn't kill mold but does burn
sensitive lungs.
Don't use any product that your store owner or
pest control person won't drink in front of you.

Guinea Pig History

Hey guys, today im going to tell you all about a guinea pic history. So lets start :

Their scientific name is Cavia Tschuldi and their nickname
in South America where they were first discovered, is“Cavy.
As you might have guessed Guinea Pigs are rodents.
Near the Andes Mountains in Peru over a thousand years ago , some Inca Indians were exploring near the tall grass on
the edge of a forest, when they found dozens of little hairy creatures scampering around.
The fat little animals when they bent down to pick them up
did not bite or even seem to mind . The Incas soon
learned that the cavies or cuy, were wild but safe animals, who liked to hide in tall grass away from the hungry owls and other predators that they were easy prey to.
They searched out burrows and homes made by rabbits or snakes or other creatures and made these spaces their home.
When it was night and dark, they would wander out to find food. Wild guinea pigs live all over South America from Argentina to Columbia.
Some scientists say that the Inca Indians were the first to tame the wild guinea pigs, but other scientists think
that even prehistoric people as far back as 5000 B.C. were keeping guinea pigs as pets and raising them as a source of food.

Should I Buy Tickets From Ticketmaster or From a Broker? [ Discussion]

Should I Buy Tickets From Ticketmaster or From a Broker?

well here is a guide for you !

With the ever-rising cost of tickets these days you may be wondering why anyone would use the services of a ticket broker instead of purchasing their tickets directly from TicketmasterTickets.com or the official box office. After all, ticket brokers sometimes charge much more than the 'face value' for a ticket. The truth is that sometimes purchasing your tickets from a box office instead of a ticket broker is your best option, but in reality, that is not true very often.
Purchasing tickets from a ticket outlet
Purchasing tickets from a source such as Ticketmaster or Tickets.com can be a crapshoot. If you wish to purchase your tickets from an authorized outlet Ticketmaster recommends that you "arrive at Ticket Centers no more than one hour in advance of the event on sale time" after which you will be entered into a "Random Number Distribution (RND) procedure... to determine line order at Ticket Centers if two or more customers are present to purchase tickets at the time the event goes on-sale." This procedure is generally referred to as a lottery, most likely because the results can be very similar. If you arrive at the ticket outlet after the random drawing you will be directed to the back of the line.
After the "lottery" is held the ticket sales representative will process ticket orders in the order determined. Each customer will tell the ticket agent what price range of seats he or she would like (the day tickets go on sale you may only select tickets by price, you will not have the option to choose any particular seating area), view a copy of the venue seating chart, and then the tickets will be printed and paid for. This process is being repeated at hundreds, if not thousands, of ticket locations throughout your area as well as on the internet and via phone while you are waiting for the customers ahead of to have their ticket order processed, diminishing the "pool" of available seats when it is finally your turn to order tickets.
You can avoid the "lottery" situation by purchasing your tickets from the box office online, but your results could be similar. Many online box office employ an image recognition system that displays a distorted image of a word you must type in to verify that you are a human and not a machine to in an attempt to prevent automated programs from purchasing tickets, but sometimes these systems can backfire on you presenting you with an image that is unreadable, thereby pushing you further back "in line."
Once you have selected tickets for purchase you will notice that there are often several additional fees you must pay including: "Facility Charge," "Convenience Charge," "Order Processing Fee," "Taxes", "Delivery Price." These fees vary and are all charged in addition to the "face value" of the ticket, but can often greatly increase the overall price per ticket.
Purchasing tickets from a ticket broker
Purchasing tickets from a ticket broker can also be a harrowing experience, especially if you have never used the services of a ticket broker before. First off, be forewarned that prices from a ticket broker are almost always above face value, and even above the total cost after adding in all of the miscellaneous fees. The reason for this is that box offices such as Ticketmaster or Tickets.com do not grant any special provileges to ticket brokers. Brokers do not receive discounts on tickets nor are any seats reserved for sale to ticket brokers. Because they do not receive any special treatment ticket brokers often have to work very hard to obtain good seats which in turn drives up the cost of their tickets.
In addition to purchasing tickets from the box office ticket brokers often buy tickets from people just like you who own really great season tickets or managed to purchase really great seats or maybe won them in a contest. In many cases brokers have many years worth of contacts with such people as well as within their own industry. In these cases the seller is generally looking to make a profit and sells the tickets to the broker at an inflated price. All of these factors, as well as market conditions affect the resale price of a ticket.
The good news is that when purchasing tickets from a ticket broker you generally have many more seating options to choose from allowing you to pick the exact seat location or budget that fits you. Additionally, a ticket broker will have tickets available for events that are sold out or don't even go on sale to the public, such as the Grammy Awards.
What should I do?
If you choose to go through an experienced, reputable ticket broker you will pay a few dollars more, but chances are that you will have a better overall purchase experience and end up with the seats that are just right for you. Many people feel that avoiding the box office hassle, as well as the memory of sitting in great seats is worth that extra cost.

Guide : How To Mind Map Your Business

How To Mind Map Your Business ? Here a guide for you :

If you're doing business on the Web, sooner or later
you'll probably begin to feel like a juggler trying to
keep ten balls flying through the air at the same
time. There are just too many elements in your
business plan to keep them all going at once.

The solution?

For many people the solution would be to make a list
of all the key elements in their business plan. But
lists are linear and the Mind doesn't think in a
linear fashion. The Mind thinks in terms of
associations, hierarchy, image, color, form, and
pattern. So to organize your ideas and generate new
ideas, a Map is much more effective than a list. In
fact, at the back of your Mind, you probably already
have a vaguely-defined map of your online business. A
Mind Map is simply a way of putting that structure
down on paper.

Mind Mapping, also known as 'Radiant Thinking', is a
technique that was developed in the 1970's by Tony
Buzan. A Mind Map consists of a central word or
concept, with 5 to 10 main ideas radiating out from
that central concept.

Here's an example of a Mind Map for an Internet
Business.

At the center of a blank page are the words 'My
Internet Business Plan', circled. Radiating out from
those central words are seven key ideas, or Basic
Organizing Ideas (BOIs): Search Engine Listings, Ezine
Ads, Newsletter, Link Exchange, Writing Ezine
Articles, Website, Affiliate Programs. Each of these
BOIs is connected to the central circle by
outward-pointing arrows, like the branches of a tree.
You can see an illustration of this Mind Map at:

http://www.freezineweb.com/mind-map.html

Each Basic Ordering Idea sprouts a further set of
ideas, also connected by outward-pointing arrows, like
twigs at the end of a branch. For example, the Basic
Organizing Idea 'Ezine Ads' gives rise to four more
ideas: 'Paid Ads, 'Ad Swaps', 'Free Ads', and 'Ad
Tracking'. 'Ad Swaps' in turn gives rise to two more
ideas, 'Newsletter' and 'Website' and so on. Each
Basic Organizing Idea can become the center of another
Mind Map.

In one sense, a Mind Map is simply a map of what you
know about a given topic, in this case your online
business. And so it's a very effective way of taking
an 'inventory' of what you know about a particular
subject at a given moment in time.

But a Mind Map also causes your brain to make
associations. Because each Basic Ordering Idea can
become the center of another Mind Map, a Mind Map is
capable of producing endless associations. In fact, if
you use a Mind Map, whether you're writing an Ezine
Article, writing an eBook, designing an entire
website, or writing a sales letter, it's virtually
impossible to get 'Writer's Block'; the very structure
of a Mind Map keeps giving rise to new associations.

Another key benefit of a Mind Map is that it helps you
organize information hierarchically, in a way that is
not possible with lists. The tree-like structure of a
Mind Map is a hierarchy and in the process of
arranging your information along the 'branches' and
'twigs' of a Mind Map, you'll get a much better grasp
of the information you're dealing with.

So, to sum up, here are the basic techniques for
drawing a Mind Map:

- 1. Place a central idea or concept in the middle of a
blank page, and circle it.

- 2. Jot down 5 to 10 Basic Ordering Ideas, radiating out
from the central concept.

- 3. Connect each Basic Ordering Idea to the central
concept with outward-pointing arrows.

- 4. As an aid to creating your Basic Ordering Ideas, ask
yourself: "If the central concept of my Mind Map were a
book, what would be the chapter headings?"

- 5. Each Basic Ordering Idea can become the center of
another Mind Map.

10 Simple Ways To Expand Your Subscriber List

Hello Guys,Here are 10 ways to expand your subscriber list:

1. Keep your subscription form easy to find on every web page. Preferably, add it on your navigational bar. If the form is to large for the bar or page, add a hyperlink and send them to a popup or a separate page so that the previous page on your site doesn't disappear. It is easy for them to return.

2. Not only must the form be easy to see, it also needs to be easy to read. Label each field. I've seen a few where I didn't know what to enter. Be kind to computer readers suffering from dry eyes, make the font large and easy to read.

3. Do you write your own EzineArticles? Add a "please subscribe here line to your byline. Begin the line with a benefit they get from subscribing and then add a few invitational words along with a URL hyperlink. Example: "Learn more about this topic. Subscribe to [name of your ezine] by visiting...."

4. Generally, people are impulse buyers. So, give them that impulse. Give away a free ebook. Instead of letting them see that the ebook is free. Regularly charge for the eBook. Six dollars is a good price, just explain them that it is a limited special offer.
They will perceive it even more valuable when there is a price connected to it. An example of the wording could go like, "Normally this ebook sells for $6 at [your web site URL or even a middle man ebook site]." Always give them a reason why you are giving it to them free. Make the reason believable.

5. Do you belong to networking groups, or attend other events? Invite everyone you meet if they would like to register for your ezine. Give them a story about the free, but not so free, ebook offer. Always, make this offer limited. In fact, have a list of these free but-not-free ebooks, written either by you, affiliates, or from resale right products. Move them around. Put one on the calendar for January through December and then repeat them the next year. Then in the third year, change it. Also, share with them how easy it is to opt-out if they don't like the ezine and they can keep the ebook.

6. Don't stop at networking groups, contact trade or professional organizations you do or don't belong to that have a high percentage of your type of readers. Ask for the membership list. Look for the people you have identified as your gatekeepers (people that know lots of others in your target market). For accountants, it's lawyers and bankers. Call them and introduce yourself. Ask if they could recommend your ezine to a few of their friends. You can also attend their networking events and ask, ask, ask.

7. Instead, or in addition to, calling the gatekeepers you have identified on the membership lists, you can send them a letter of introduction -- a direct mail piece. The piece can ask them (a call to action) to visit your web site for more information on your newsletter and/or receive a copy of the free but-not-free ebook.

8. Share the wealth. Exchange recommendations to each other's newsletter. Be prepared for these so that it doesn't cost you valuable time when you are working on a deadline. If you work with a virtual assistant, let them respond to these opportunities. Prepare three or four examples and offer the exchanger their choice to use one that they feel is appropriate for their audience. Ask them for a reciprocal and equal announcement.

9. Make comments and include your byline at the end. Comments can be product review on Amazon, ezines you enjoy, or local newspapers. Give suggestions, share your stories on how it helped you, ask questions, or give ideas that emerged from your reading. Blogs are also good places to comment on as well.

10. It takes 7 times before people start to trust. Present them 7 opportunities to have two-way conversations with you. Not one-way conversations (you write, they read). Provide the two-way with surveys, questions, contests, games, things that they need to ask for are just a few. If you are offering a contest, send them a testimonial from the winner. If you can, create an opportunity for many winners. It spreads the hope.

Hope you find these success! Have fun

Some Fun Things to Do This Weekend

Hello alls, today im going to share with you about " Some Fun Things to Do This Weekend ".

So lets start :

*Have a Harry Potter Marathon and then go watch the last one in the theater. What's more fun than a movie marathon and then a night out on the town? A movie marathon and night out on the town AND Harry Potter. Get caught up on all of the HP movies and then brave the crazy fans with lightning bolts drawn and their foreheads to see the final movie in the theater.

*Plan a barbeque in the park. Enjoy the summer weather with your friends and plan a get together in the park. Bring your bocce ball set, hot dogs and hamburgers, a juicy watermelon and chocolate chip cookies and you'll have the perfect afternoon!

*Go garage sale hopping. With nice weather in full swing, people are holding garage sales left and right. Get up early (early bird gets the worm!) and find some treasures! Check your local newspaper for garage sale listings, although keep your eye out for others as not everyone posts their garage sale in the paper.

*Speaking of garage sales, have one! It's the perfect excuse to go through your closets, attic, garage and cupboards to clean out and get rid of things you don't use anymore. If you don't have enough for a full-blown sale, have your neighbors join in on the fun and hold a joint garage sale! You'll clean out your house and maybe make a little money too!

*Buy a new outfit. Nothing says a great weekend like a new outfit. If you're in need of something new and don't want to bust your budget hit up your local Goodwill, thrift shops and consignment stores for some great finds for cheap!

*Go antique shopping. Whether or not you are looking for something in particular, browsing your local antique shops is a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Who knows, you may find something you just can't live without!

*Buy a lotto ticket. The quickest way to make a buck is to spend one on a lottery ticket and cross your fingers for a win! Play lottery this weekend and, if you win, it will definitely be one you will never forget!

*Explore a new town near where you live. You know that tiny town you always pass through, but have no idea what might be there? Go there! Explore. Shopping, eating and walking around the streets of a new place can be fun!

Enjoy!

How to Draw One-Point Perspective Guide

Today im going to teach you all on how to Draw One-Point Perspective Guide. So lets start with some introduction :
Are you aware that it is entirely possible that you can draw a train coming out from the paper? What I mean is that you could be able to depict an image of a train that appears like moving towards you as if it is real. Yes, that is certainly possible in case you are to draw it using one-point perspective. But do you have any idea how it is done?
Perspective drawing is a technique developed by architects in early 5th century to represent a three-dimensional image on a two-dimensional plane. It remained as the fundamental principle of western arts for approximately five centuries. Within this present age this method has already been well-known and being used by many artist, and as a lover of art I am going to teach you how to draw one-point perspective drawing.
In this article we are going to cover the four steps procedure used by most artists to draw images with one-point perspective.
Select a Vanishing Point
As the first and most important part of one-point perspective drawing, a vanishing point is a point on your drawing plane where all orthogonal lines meet. One best example for this is the on a highway where the road seems to vanish from your sight. Therefore objects and spaces appear to be smaller as they go nearer the vanishing point until they seem to disappear. The best vanishing point is located on someplace where your image will show up on the center of your paper as a spotlight.
Draw a Horizon
The horizon line is a horizontal line across your drawing plane that passes through your vanishing point. This line is helpful to indicate the perspective views of images in your drawing or in real life it represents the viewer's line of sight where an object is divided into two views, the base and the top view. As an example, the floor is visible under the viewer's line of sight and the ceiling above. In a simple statement the horizon determines from where the viewer is observing.
Draw the Orthogonal Lines
These are extension lines from your vanishing point that serves as guidelines for your image and most likely provides the form of your drawing. Orthogonal lines are usually used sketch the outlines of your image, its edges, division and sides.
Draw Additional Lines: Horizontal, Vertical, Sloping and Curves
After drawing all orthogonal lines we then draw a few other lines that will assist us to form the image we like to illustrate. Most of these lines are horizontal and vertical lines. Wheels are sometimes drawn with the use of coins to create a perfect shape, but because we are dealing with one-point perspective drawing it is more better draw ellipse by freehand instead of a circle unless it is facing the front view. Drawing the final sketch of your image in a one-point perspective would now be easy. After following these steps all you have to do is erase some exceeding lines and add more details to your work, these includes varying the tone and contrast and adding shadows. And also be reminded always that the pre-sketched of the image should be drawn in thin lines for us to simply erase the exceeding lines after doing the final sketch.
Subjects that involve regular shape are easier to draw in one-point perspective than those that don't. Apply what you have learned to improve your skills and that someday you will be able to draw not only one-point perspective drawing but also other kinds of perspective drawing that involves subjects with irregular shapes.

Now its done! Enjoy

5 Easy Steps to Make Your Own Candles

If you are looking for a way to make fun, usable gifts for a holiday or other occasion, you may want to consider candle making. Making your own candles is a simple process, will save you money, and most importantly candles make a thoughtful gift.
Step 1: Gather your Materials
The obvious first step is to gather your materials. Most can be found, made or purchased at your local arts and crafts store. To make your own candle you will need the following materials:
• Soy wax
• Cotton wicks or wick tabs
• Natural fragrance oils
• Candle dye or food safe colouring
• Reusable containers
• A stove or hot plate
• A pot
• A thermometer
• A ruler
• A pencil
• Masking tape
Step 2: Material Preparation
• Firstly, you must center the wick. To do this, prepare the containers by measuring the bottom of each with a ruler, and place a dot precisely in the middle of the bottom of the container. This will be your measurement for centering the wick.
• Next, take a piece of masking tape and make a small slit in it, then place the wick through the slit. Use the tape to stick the wick to the center bottom of the candle.
• Pull the wick up, wrap it around a pencil and lay the pencil across the top of the container. This will hold the wick in the center of the candle without compromising the evenness of it, similar to other methods.
• Measure out the wax, scent and colourant
Step 3: Melt the Soy Wax
• Place the wax in the pot and allow it to heat up to 160 degrees (F). Watch it carefully as wax has a low flash point and may catch fire if you are not careful.
Step 4: Add Decorations
• Once the wax has reached exactly 160 degrees, you may then add your fragrance oils and/or
colourant. In general, one ounce of fragrance oil per pound of wax is sufficient, however the strength
varies a lot. For colouring, add the dye until you are satisfied with the colour, however, make sure you
stir the melted wax well.
• Once you are satisfied with the look, allow your candles to cool to 140 degrees F.
Step 5: Pour and Let it Cool
• Pour your melted soy wax into the container. Make sure you pour slowly to avoid bubbles, and do not
splash. Also, keep the wick centered in order to obtain a perfect candle.
• Let the wax sit for approximately 24 hours until it has cooled and set.
• If you are unable to pull the wax away from the wick, or see holes forming around it, simply place the
candle on a candle warmer and let it re-melt. High quality soy wax is recommended, as it will reduce
the likelihood of this problem occurring.
By following these five easy steps, you will have the perfect candle made out of all natural material. You can offer it as a gift, keep it for yourself, or make loads of them to share with friends. Remember to be safe and have fun!
